View Full Version : Proraso Pre/Post question

I bought some Proraso PRE Shave Cream at Target. The question: is this the same as Proraso Pre/Post? It does not say "post" anywhere on it, but there is the possibility that this is simply not included in the different labels/packaging that Target uses (since Target's Proraso items do not have exactly the same look as Proraso items you'd buy elsewhere). Other than the label, the Pre Shave Cream appears to be in the same glass jar as the Pre/Post I've seen online.
Bottom line: I don't want to go buy a jar of Pre/Post if I've already got one on the counter in disguise. Anybody know if I've got Pre/Post or if this is actually a different product?
Thanks

Awesome! I guess it's just a packaging/labeling issue?
Glad to know I don't have to go out and buy the right stuff. Now I can spend that money on other shaving products... :001_smile

Just curious, if you flip the jar over and look at the bottom, do you see some weird black bits in there? I know it's kinda a weird question, but I noticed them in mine. Then, when I was at a different Target, I pulled a couple jars out of the box to have a look, and they all had that junk in the bottom too. It's not really a problem, as it's not in the rest of the cream, I just won't be able to use it down to the last drop. Perhaps they were dusting at the factory that day.

I don't remember seeing anything like that. I'll check when I get home from work today.

Do you guys ever get a white residue on your face when using this as an aftershave?
I had some this morning and didn't know if it was the Proraso pre/post or if I just didn't get all the alum off in my rinse before the a/s.

Hey all...I went to three targets today looking for this (one regular and two super targets). The super targets carried the proraso line, but neither had the pre/post. There was a slot moarked pre/post, but both were empty.
Do you guys know of any other national chain stores that carry proraso stuff? I know I can order it online, and I will if I have to, but buying locally sure is nice when I can do it.
Thanks!

I notice the same white residue when used as a/s. Makes me look even paler than my normal winter palor, but seems to go away once it drys...

Of course, YMMV, but I have been using this as an A/S rather than a pre-shave treatment and so far no residue for me.
