On my reconciliation with Williams shaving soap, I remain amazed at the quality of lather I can create. This said, I am not a huge fan of its generic light citrus scent.
As I was shaving away, I had a quick thought. What if I added one of my wife's foo-foo scent oils to tweak the smell of Williams? Though I was not about to try her nutmeg or cranberry oils, I noticed an old bottle of pine EO.
I placed a very light drop of pine EO on my Williams and was pleasantly surprised.
Either I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue or I just might have created a Poor Mans tallow Blenheim Bouquet shaving soap!!
Surely, one of you will let me know.
