Call me a sissy, but I always enjoy a good rum drink. Something about a good rum from the Caribbean with some sort of fruit juice that does it for me. However, I want to see what you all are drinking that involves rum. It doesn't have to be sweet, just different.

I'll start it off with a Rum Relaxation:

Ingredients:
3oz Silver Rum (Flavored or not, coconut works)
1-2oz Pineapple Juice
.5-1oz Grenadine
4oz Sprite (Add more if you like)

Directions:
Mix the rum, juice and grenadine in a shaker with some ice. REALLY get it going, it should come out frothy. Keep the ice or get new ice, doesn't seem to matter too much. Pour in the sprite on top and stir it up a bit.

Nothing wrong with good rum by itself, either....
Or just plainly mixed with coke.

Growing up we had rum toddies (lemon juice, honey, rum, and hot water is how we had them, usually when we had colds)
I've also had hot buttered rums around Christmas time (either use a storebought "batter" or melt some non-salted butter into some brown sugar, err to the end of more butter than you think you will need, then place a table spoon of this still hot, into the bottom of a coffee mug, add a shot of rum, and fill the rest of the way with scalding water and if you like a stick of cinnamon)
Nothing wrong with good rum straight, though. Especially if you get some good stuff.

Back home in Halifax, The Lower Deck, down on the water front had what they called a "Rum Runner"
2/3 shot rum
1/3 Amaretto
fill the rest of the glass with coke, and finish off with a lime. My those were tasty.
