Not a major score, but I picked up a 1.0GB SD card from Costco for $24.95
I guess the real score is that I will have plenty of memory so that I can play around with my SOTD pics!

It's not an acquisition in the truest sense, but it's new to me. I finally got my bar set up. Okay, it's really an old armoire, but it's a bar to me and I love it.

Whoah! I know who I'm visiting. My liquor aquisitions have been relegated to the bottom of an obscure cabinet. Hmmm. Methinks I feel a garage project coming on. Except one problem. If I put everything from my ADs out where it can be seen then my significant other might get very jealous and start pulling more stuff from inventory. No, no no...must resist. Must not blow picture up to see what's in it. ARRRGGHHHH!!!

Resistance is futile. Must not give in...must not...must...OK you win. Just the ports please if you don't mind. I already have bottles of other stuff that have been "resting" for 20-30 years. Porto/port is the only thing I drink regularly now. Unless, it's a really good beer married to food. Oh, and any Madeira you might have. Please? I have wineries all over the place near me so if I need a wine "fix" I just go tasting. Bevmo is two miles away.

I attended a intensive 3.5 hour tea tasting today. This was a great experience at a great tea house that offers over 150 teas! As you can see below, they sent me off with a little homework.

Well, sorry to disappoint, but I'm just getting into Port. I only have a couple bottles. Primarily I'm a whisky drinker, with the exception of 2 bottles of Anejo my entire bar is full of Scotch, Rye and Bourbon. I have a couple bottles of Jonesy Port, I love this stuff and at $9 it's a steal. I also have a 99 LBV Fonseca and a 10 year old Churchill's Tawny.

Nice new 22g fixed points

I have a set in moveable points in the same weight as well, figured i would see what the difference is b/w the two. I am a pretty decent amatuer shooter, just won our league championship last Tuesday, so I figured i would retire that set to go with the trophy

Hi there,
Man, those things bring back memories......Black Widows aren't they? Heh, I have some experience with that company, seeing as how I started using Barracudas back in the late 70's or early 80's. I really liked the way the Widows looked, but preferred the different barrel design on the Fishes. I used to toss a 22 gram.......my son has em now. Heh, years ago I spent a LOT of time in an english pub, (or two), and that's where I learned to play seriously. Was on two leagues, and could actually hit things I was aiming at ( fairly often).
Anyway, I'm pretty sure that dart company started out as Fansteel, located near Chicago, and i see it's still going, although in a different incarnation now.
Although I've been out of the dart loop for many years now, I do believe you've made a good choice. May I offer up a game you may not be familiar with? It's a CT ( cutthroat) format......everyone out for themselves....many people can play at once. It's called "Burma Road", and the rules must be easily available. Very fun betting game, fast and easy to learn.
Enjoy the heck out of chucking your spears,
Martin
Btw, I'd also recommend pints of Watney's Red...excellent invention!

Picked up a nice little Benchmade knife today. Being left handed, I really appreciate the fact that Benchmade makes truly ambidextrous knives. This knife was marked down about 40% and they even threw in the sharpener.

Is that the Apparition? I've been considering picking up one similar to that but in a smooth blade.

Nope, it is a Mel Pardue Mini-Griptilian #555S. I really like the Axis Lock feature, it is just as fast as the auto version...maybe even faster!

My new Marathon TSAR watch arrived this morning.
I had originally set out to purchase a $100.00-$200.00 quartz movement watch for everyday use, but when I saw the TSAR....my budget immediately shot up!
SWEET!
Is it coffee proof?

As long as I don't submerge myself in more than a thousand feet of coffee I should be OK:biggrin: .

Nice watch DJ. I'm not familiar with Marathon. Is it the Russian officers watch?

Austin, the watch is issued to the Canadian coast guard search and rescue teams (SAR) and also NASA divers etc. This is the latest 2006 US military contracted watch as well.

I picked up three sets of these Bodum Pavina glasses at Marshall's for $9.99 each, a pretty good deal... seeing that a set of two usually runs about $20.00
These are great glasses for cocktails as well.
