I was at a car show one Summer and I saw a proud Mustang owner showing off his highly customized vehicle. "It's a Roush-corrected Mustang" he told the onlookers, who were looking in awe at the supercharger and chrome under the hood. Roush is a well known custom shop for Mustangs; for a price. http://www.roushperformance.com/

Well - in a similar vein, we have (e.g.) the Cooncatbob-corrected Gillette (as well as replated Gillettes, "Mergress" Murkers, etc.). IMHO - these razors are superior to the originals; just like (IMHO) the Roush Mustangs. Well - superior in that you can have a razor built to suit your own tastes.

Pictured is my "corrected" Gillette New, with an HD-style handle (which I have posted a zillion times).

I say bring it on. :thumbup1:

Beautiful razor I bet you get some heft out of it compared to the original. :thumbup1:

That's what is great about this past time and this board.
There is no "one right way".

That's a beut of a shaver there. Cooncatbob does some simply amazing things.

I think that comparing Bob to Shelby or Roush is incorrect. Bob is better. :thumbup1:
