Today I enjoyed a manicure which included an excellent 15 minute hand massage (and no, it wasn't the evil kind of hand massage ).

This evening I enjoyed a large slice of homemade apple pie with a tall frosty glass of Whole Foods chocolate soy milk. mmmmmm!

Tonight with some lamb gyros, I had a bottle of St. Supery 2002 Cabernet.

My first time with this 2002 Napa cab, it was very tasty, lots of fruit and cassis.

I haven't decided what to have after dinner. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.

An enjoyable bowl of Astleys No. 109 in my pipe, a finger of Remy XO brandy and a large bowl of Whole Foods New England Clam chowder. I can make the chowder by scratch and it's better, but this is good enough as a quick warm-up on a very cold night.

Johnnie Walker Black on a Rock-If it is good enough for Churchill, it's good enough for me.

Bowl of GL Pease Haddo's Delight.

I just tried a bowl of Pease Haddo...
'twas a recommendation from someone other than Scotto...

Ok..Ok...thats it. I'm not a Poet. This is very interesting. I like the tang the Perique brings to the mix. I can however see if that isn't your thing then you would probably not care much for this blend. Full bodied creamy smoke with lots of flavor. Is it just me or does this stuff pack a bit of a nicotine wallop?

Last night. . .veal cutlets, pounded thin, dusted in flour, S&P, sauteed lightly in butter and olive oil, pan deglazed with a touch of freshly squeezed lemon juice and chicken stock. Served with sauteed broccoli and a nice cabernet.

Tonight. . .pork loin roast on the grill, dusted with special spices, served with brown rice, pork gravy and sauteed beet greens with a touch of sugar and vinegar.

Tomorrow night. . .the local pancake dinner! Dad gets the night off!!!

7 hours of solid sleep last night. :001_wub:

For someone who has been a near insomniac for the past couple of months this is truly and indulgence! :001_wub:

Tonight was a sober night. My girlfriend was out with her friends and I knew she would need a ride about 3 in the morning. So I stayed at home and waited to ensure safety. It was a boring night, so I'm thankful B&B is here for me 24 hrs a day. And I'm glad to do the right thing.

Though, now that I'm home safely as is everyone else, I am tempted to have a nightcap.

During the Super Bowl halftime ( I really could care less about Prince), I enjoyed a very mild Montesino from Arturo Fuente. Very nice mild cigar with great draw.http://cigar-review.com/components/com_forum//images/smiles/smiley37.GIF
