For the guys that own/use multiple Gillette Super Speeds: Have you noticed a difference in the shave that each individual razor gives? For example, if you have a '61 and a '62, is one more comfortable or shave closer than the other using the same blade type? Or is a '54 going to give a slightly different shave than a '62? Just curious to know what different people have noticed! I've already got 4 SS razors, and I've not shaved with any of them to notice a change. Still concentrating on technique. But I think I'm doing pretty good. Only 4 total shaves, and the last 2 were reasonably close with no nicks or irritation. Already loving a DE! I don't plan on ever using a cartridge again!

I've got a '53 SS, and a '57 flare tip SS, the flare tip seems to give me a little closer shave
with the same blade in each.

I've got 2 40's style SS, a '51, '52 with a 48-50 on the way. I don't notice a difference between the 51 and 52 and will be surprised to find much of a difference with the 48-50. At some point I might pick up a '50's style flair tip to compare, but I'm not really interested in a 60's style. Out of all my DE's, the early SS is my favorite. It gives a nice comfortable shave.

There are the pre Flare tips, early flare tips and low profile head flaretips

The red tip is more aggressive, the blue tip milder, and the English Rocket (I think) is a bit more aggressive, but the 40's/50's/60's regular super speeds are all about the same to me. I marginally favor the handle of the 40's super speed better than the newer ones.

I have noticed that they all seem to shave a little different. Of the different Gillettes TTOs I have acquired over the last year I would rank them IMO, here in the order I enjoy the shave.

I still have to find a shave quality Fatboy, President, Executive and Toggle to try out. Also would someday like to try British versions. I normally do not pick up the collector quality razors as I try to use every one of these.

From my experiences the Superspeed TTOs (non-adjustable) except for possibly the Blue & Red Tips give about the same shave.
