Dubl Duck Added!
For Sale are six good condition vintage razors per the B&B grading guidelines. These were not feeling any love in my two razor rotation and would make great razors for those looking for their first razor. They all show signs of use but work great for shaving! All have been cleaned, sanitized, and polished. I've taken the razor pictures in bright, unflattering light so as to highlight any cosmetic defects so that you know exactly what you get.
#1. 1951 40's-Style Super Speed in Case. TTO mechanism is a bit stiff when closing, but closes tight and straight. One small spot of brassing on the handle and a fair amount of water spots on the doors make this a good condition razor. $20
#2. 1930's Gillette NEW Windsor in Case. Head and comb guard have a good amount of plating intact. Handle has cracks that have been set with epoxy to prevent further spliting and a chip out of the knurling. Blade case has no dents and roughly 75% of plating remaining. $20
#3. 1930's Bar-Handled NEW. Razor is mechanically perfect, but has a fair amount of plating loss. Roughly 60% of the plating is intact. All teeth are straight. This would make a great beginner razor. $12 SOLD
#4. 1930's Bar-Handled NEW. Razor is mechanically perfect, but has alot of plating loss. Roughly 40% of the plating is intact. All teeth are straight. This would make a great beginner razor. $12 SOLD
#5. 1940's Ball-end Tech. Razor is mechanically perfect and a great shaver. Blade plate and head have about 50% plating remaining, but Gillette logo is still visible on the top of the head. Handle has no cracks and 90% of plating left. $10
#6. 1946-1947 Aristocrat (un-notched no date code) in mechanically perfect condition. Razor shows about 75% of plating remaining however, end-caps and the top of the blade notch are down to silver. TTO action is quite smooth and doors close tight. Razor is in good condition per B&B guidlines. $20 SOLD
#7. Just added to the sale. Look for a picture in my post below. I had an unexpected monetary requirement come up today so I have to sell this too. Dubl Duck Satinedge with yellow bakelite scales. Blade is in good condition with a small amount of water-spots; it's very shiny! Scales have some scratches and blade closes slightly off-center. I had a great shave with this after honing it myself but, as I'm not an experienced honemeister, I hesitate to call this shave-ready. How about nearly shave-ready! $50 (this will be boxed Priority Mail rather than First Class).
First Class USPS shipping included in all prices. Delivery Confirmation and Insurance $1.00 extra at the request of buyer. Paypal and CONUS only.
I did a lot of research on B/S/T prices prior to posting, but if any of my prices are out of line, please feel free to PM me and I will gladly make corrections. Thanks for looking!
