Gold etching

In the far distant future, I am thinking of have a straight restored. In the meantime I am playing around possible designs. Does anyone in the restoration community do gold etching? Where would I even look for such a service?

Are you looking for gold inlay work or an acid etching that has been gold plated, or just a gold plate design work?
