The display screen on the backside of my digital camera always appears dirty?
How should I clean it? (If I should clean it)
Tim
Take a close look at it,there may be a piece of plastic film over it from shipping.
I use a product that is made for laptop screens available in most supply stores that have computer stuff..

I use a microfiber cloth.
Clean...it is also safe for lenses.

Ditto the microfiber cloth. Make sure there are no particles on the screen that would scratch it when wiped...if so blow them off with a bulb. I usually moisten the surface by exhaling on it prior to wiping.

Guys, thanks so much for the tips.
Where would I acquire a microfiber cloth?

Tim:
Any camera shop will have them, and Walmart or Target may have them. I've even found them in odd places like knife shops.

I have a Nikon one that has a little 'pouch-on-a-clip'. Its nice because I just clip it to my backpack and use it when I need it.

I have two suggestions.
For everyday cleaning of minor dirtyness, use one of those microfiber cloths opticians give or sell. They are specially made not to scratch plastic lens coatings.
If you need something for a little extra cleaning power, use a small amount of vodka.
