How do you ID a Ranger

I think I may have bought a Gillette Ranger TTO. How can I tell and what do they normally run for resale?

The way I tell if a Gillette is a Ranger tech is first they have to be nickel plated otherwise your looking at probably a Milord. There will be a smooth band on the handle right above the TTO knob. See Picture. The 41 Ranger did not have end caps and had "PAT. NOS. ON PKG." stamped on the smooth band. 46 Ranger did have end caps but did not have anything stamped on the smooth band.
