Inox = Inoxydable = Stainless steel.

Thanks!

Ok, so the one I have is not one of the carbon ones.

I was thinking of getting a second straight razor from Dovo, I will therefore look at their "carbon" ones....
ANy recommendation for a good one and a good site?

You can go to Classic Shaving (http://www.classicshaving.com/page/page/522940.htm).

I just recently picked up a Tortoise Special which is Carbon. You can see a review here (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=12124).

I have to agree that the Imitation Tortoise Shell is one of the nicest of Dovo's carbon steel razors in lower price range. Just a little further up the food chain is another of my favorites, the Perlex Carbon Steel 6/8". The Perlex comes in both carbon steel and stainless steel versions, but only the carbon steel version comes in a 6/8" blade. You can see the Perlex Carbon Steel 6/8" on my site here --> http://vintagebladesllc.com/vshop/xcart/product.php?productid=545&cat=132&page=1.

If you mean this micarta:

http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/522940/190260.htm

It has a stainless steel blade and the poster is looking for a carbon steel one.

The Micartas are really nice. I saw one in person the other day and it was much nicer than the photos suggest. The scales are very thick giving it a lot of heft.

Might just have to get one..........hmm, white or black..........both? of course Dovo also offers a matching brush.............

I'm now offering burgundy linen micarta scales, and orange&black layered G-10 in addition to the wood scales. I'll also be getting some black linen micarta in soon.

I recently got a Dovo Special faux tortise and I love it. I highly recomend it. It was 'almost' shave ready.
