View Full Version : Using CyanoAcrylate (SuperGlue) for Finishes

For you do it yourselfers out there. If you were to make a gloss finish with cyanoacrylate and wanted to sand it out smooth and flat once it has cured, what grit of sandpaper would you recommend? I have some 600 grit on hand, but wasn't sure if that was (a) coarse enough to actually remove any material and (b) not leave ghastly scratch marks. Suggestions appreciated. :blink:

Well, after 2 days of working on my restoration project, I can attest that if you have a little patience and elbow grease to spare that this works wonderfully.:001_cool:
