Hi Everyone,
Has anyone here tried the new G-5 scuttle, It sooks a lot better than the original. I know the reviews on the original were not that good.
Thanks,
Superspot
I have one and it looks nice and works relatively well. But if I were to recommend a scuttle, I would go with a Dirty Bird 1.5x. It is large enough to bowl lather in, keeps the lather warm substantially longer than a G5 and the grooves in the bowl help to make the lather.
I have a DB, a G5 and a large Moss. I would have to rate them, DB #1, Moss a close second and G5 kind of a distant third.

I have a new Georgetown, it works fine. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it does the job I bought it for. Plus I like the color scheme.

I like the G5, the rubber stopper makes a big difference for me.. I pre-soak the brush with just hot water in the bowl and reservoir, and it gets lukewarm pretty quick.. refill it with hot water and the stopper, and it holds the heat for a good 10+ mins or so. I put rubber o rings on the bottom of mine (the kind that you put inside garden hose ends), it keeps it from scratching the counter!
