Any tennis fans out there? Will you be watching any of the Australian Open tournament starting tonight?

Absolutely ... I'm presenting watching Stepanek versus Karlovic match even though I'm not a big fan of the one-dimensional Karlovic.

Excellent-I am right now watching the Maria Sharapova/Maria Kirilenko match on ESPN2, not sure about the quality of the tennis but the view is nice!:tongue_sm
I think it should be a very interesting tournament this year, on both the men's and women's side...

I don't really have anything against Sharapova, but I wouldn't mind seeing her crash out in the first round of the Australian ... on the women's side especially, there are too many players that stick their entire career with one coach (in this case, Sharapova's dad) and do little to improve their games ...

I'm not big on tennis really, but the Aussie Open last year was amazing and got me hooked for the tournament. That Nadal vs. Verdasco match was unreal. How neither one dropped dead afterwards is beyond me.

Was a great match, then Nadal follows up and beats the best player ever the next match to win the tournament. That was another great match.
Nadal looked pretty good just now, won in 3 cruising.

I've been a fan for years. Used to love watching McEnroe on the court. He was a jerk, but he certainly had talent. Martina Navratilova was amazing. Was also a Pete Sampras fan. Now my favorites are Federer and Clijsters.

Well, I am a big fan of Nadal but frankly I don't think his form is good enough to win this year, maybe he will surprise us...I agree that Roger could win it, why not? When he is playing at his best nobody can beat him. Other than Roger, I am thinking it would probably be Djokovic, he was playing really well at the end of last year and I think he could do it-
On the women's side, who knows! I agree Henin could pull it off, that would be amazing...I was hoping for a Henin/Klijsters final (battle of the Belgians) but that won't be possible because of where they are in the draw...
Anyway, I think it should be a great tournament this year-

One down...the rest to go :) I could not believe how bad she played last night.
Should be a good tournament. Thank god for ESPN360!
