The UPS man just left... figured I'd share some photos of my new brush!

It's a Rooney, Style 3, Size 2. I purchased it from Jim at Vintage Blades.

I plan on using the Rooney at home, and the Vulfix 1000A for travel.

I soak my brush it hot water while I shower, is that sufficient?, or should I shampoo the brush before first use?

Wooohoooo!:w00t:

Congrats on your new brush! If your brush is anything like the 3/2 I recently purchased, I highly recommend a shampoo or two. I usually do this for all new brushes but skipped that step with the 3/2 and just soaked it before lathering. Holy *%#*& was that a mistake. It was like lathering with soap that had been dragged through a cow (OK, badger) pasture! Whoa!!!

Enjoy the brush - it's a beauty! :thumbup1:

It's a beaut! I think you'll enjoy it very much.

I love my 3/1. I shoulda gotten mine in imitation ivory, though. The imitation ebony is kinda dull.

I've had the opportunity to use it 3 times since I received it, it feels great on my face and forms a nice lather.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!
