I used to be able to find it at CVS or Walgreens, but no longer. Now the only place I can find it is online. I wonder if this is just a poor selling product? I don't know why they can't have a better selection of shaving products in the local retail stores, like Wal-Mart, Target, and the drug stores. The selection of shaving products available locally is nothing short of horrible! :mad3:

they make a balm? i only thought they had the two or three bottles of the same stuff with different names.
I'm not sure where you're located, but I have seen it at Giant Eagle and Rite Aid here in NE OH.

They do. I have never tried it, but I've seen it around before. It comes in a tube.

It's by far the best balm I've ever used and I've tried quite a few.

I actually saw some yesterday at a Meijer, but I don't recall seeing it anywhere else. It doesn't seem to smell the same as the other Brut products--which despite different ingredients smell exactly the same to me. Maybe it is because I am still fighting off a cold. Either way, bought a big bottle of the splash on yesterday. The girlfriend likes it out of the bottle more than AV, but not as much as Old Spice.

Whether it's my #1, I'm not sure (AoS and TRSC come to mind); but, it really is (very) good stuff!

So I just splashed on some Brut. That bottle makes things a but messy. Should I decant it or is there some other way?

I got several on clearance at Walgreens several months ago. Perhaps it's discontinued.

does it smell the same as the brut cologne (assuming it does)?
brut was my first cologne, as a young fella. my dad used it, and my mom gave me an old bottle of his. very fond memories :thumbup1:
just a note though, don't know where OP is from, but Meijer stores are only located in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and Wisconsin

Not as intense as the aftershave but there's no doubt about its heritage - Brut! :thumbup1:

I found a stray tube of Brut Revolution balm here in Cleveland at a Big Lots.. the scent is pretty tame.. a "sporty" kind of thing similar to AV's Ice Balm, kind of citrus/oceanic.. it would go fine with an 1805 or JF kind of scent.
Works pretty well too, esp. at under $2.. :biggrin1:

I often like to plug the hole with my thumb, turn the bottle over and as I slowly move my thumb out of the way, the splash comes out nice and slow. As far as the balm goes, I do remember reading somewhere that they were going to discontinue it so I went out and bought a tube. It's a decent enough product but I find that it's a bit too thick to be considered a balm IMO. More like a scented moisturizer.

i've found the brut balm at CVS. if you're in CVS and can't find it CVS makes their own aftershave balm in a grey plastic thingie. it smells similar to brut and is about half the price.

Where did you see that it was being discontinued. That wouldn't suprise me. It seems like every time I find something I really like, they quit making it. :thumbdown And whether you call it a balm or a moisturizer, it doesn't really matter to me. All I know is it smells very nice and it make makes my face feel very nice after a shave.

Brut balm is available at Duane Reade pharmacy here in NY. Duane Reade has by far the best assortment of wet shaving products of any of the big pharmacys. They have the full lines of the Real Shave Co, St. James of London, Anthony Logistics(Body Essentials and Sport lines) as well as the usual suspects like Brut, Clubman, Old Spice, Aqua Velva, KOS.....etc

I had a look in three chemists on Friday; alas none of them had it in. (They all stocked the Brut splash though.)

It's also carried at Marc's for only $1.99. I bought some the other day and man, this stuff works great. Very soothing and moisturizing. Also, the stuff just dissappeared into my skin, no greasiness at all. I also like the scent since I'm a big Brut fan.
Wish I would have tried this stuff sooner, it's probably the best balm I've tried. 5 stars

It's stocked in all the Lowe's grocery stores around here. On sale too until sometime next week along with all the Nivea balms.
I've doubled up on Brut today - aftershave splash and a couple of spritzes of the EDT. No villagers with torches and pitchforks yet, but it's still early.

Good stuff!! Contains aloe and shea butter. Very soothing and moisturizing and has that classic Brut scent. Found it at my local Rite Aid. If it's discontinued I'm gonna go back and buy their remaining stock!

Hmmm . . . it's not showing up anymore on their web site (http://www.brutworld.com/). I dropped them a note to see what's up.
I kind of got tired of the scent, but I did use the balm a couple years ago and it worked very well for me. If they made an unscented version I'd buy a case.

Thanks for the heads up! Giant Eagle wants 3x that price!
