Ebony in silvertip. It will join my C&E pure as an everyday brush, so I didn't want a luxury, occasional use brush, which is how some described the finest.

Haven't ordered yet but I'm leaning towards a finest with horn. I'm hoping to order on the last day possible. The confidence I had in my willpower has been utterly destroyed the last month hence this little test of self denial. I just know I'm going to fail though....

I don't know which to order. I'm still a newbie to these kinds of things, but I know a deal when I see one... I'd just kinda feel sore if I bought both (limited budget) and only used one... Which should I get?!

ZiggyDeath I find myself in the same predictament and I know I'll always wonder about the other brush if I don't purchase both. More experienced users should I buy both brushes or one B&B and one kent or shavemac etc???

You can always buy a Kent or a Shavemac, but the B&B brush is a one shot deal...so get em while you can!

I personally think it is really something when you can place an order from Tennessee in the USA to the UK at almost mid-night their time and receive a confirmation email in your inbox in something less than three minutes.
Not only that, but the deal that was put together provides both a premium brush, (none better to be had from the reviews), plus a razor and a stand for both, paying less than most top drawer brushes would cost.

I caved. I had only wanted to get one, my funds aren't the best. But I know I'd regret it if I didn't get two brushes. So I went with the brush/razor set in Finest Horn and the Standard in Ebony. I just couldn't say no, It's not I'll be able to get either ever again. And even if I could I know Jagger will jack up the price a lot and personally I don't blame them

But in the future guys, can we limit our brush choices to ONE! My wallet can't take this! :biggrin:

I just picked up the silvertip horn. I know it was a unique opportunity to get a 'finest' for a good price.... but I'm new to this game and I prefer to wait until I have a little more skill so I'll know what I'm getting. Very much looking forward to seeing that box from England arrive.

i bought the finest in horn a week ago.

then sbad got the better of me and i ordered silvertip in ebony today.

i'm proud of myself because in addition to the above, i had another TWO in my shopping cart at one stage - one more of each in finest - and was justifying it to myself on the basis that it is the deal of a lifetime and i will use them eventually as, hey, i have to shave for the rest of my life, right?

After MUCHO hemming and hawing, I decided on:

Silvertip faux horn (for everyday use...I prefer a slightly stiffer brush day-to-day)

Finest Ebony (just 'cause the deal was TOO good to pass up on).

I was originally only going to buy the silvertip in faux horn, but when I saw that the taxes were waived because it's a US order I had to get one of each. I hate having regrets.

Now I just have to be patient for a while...not my strong suit! :wink:

I think I recall reading that it was approaching 400 brushes sold :smile: I don't know on the razor count...

Started with the Finest ebony a few weeks back.

Ordered the Silvertip horn 2 days ago.

The spirit was willing, but the body was weak...... or something.

Assuming you've selected the proper currency, if you continue with the checkout, it should knock the extra $16.26 off your order if you're outside the European Union (and don't have to pay VAT).

Since I already have an EJ Super Badger, the Finest was the obvious choice. My other "Horn" is a trumpet... so, I wanted to keep things "in the family". :cool:
