It actually looks a little..."evil"...to me. But in a good, "don't go messin' wid da man" sort of way.

Funny you should mention that... the brush actually came from a museum and is 70+ years old, never been used
Now, is it the custom straight you were talking about in a previous thread? It is ridiculously great.

As promised here are some photos of some of my shaving accessories collection. Today I discovered that my local supermarket stocks a full range of Speick products   (shower gel, soap, cologne, etc)

Joel, that is the most gorgeous thing I have seen in a long time! The workmanship is incredible! I love the pitted look and the mother of pearl? is so nice. I have this overwhelming feeling that I can't live another day without one of those.. I wish I knew why :001_tt1: Can we buy these and how much are they?
I must have missed the brush picture tho.... :w00t: Edit... OMG! What a gorgeous BRUSH!
Bear Hugs!
Sue, who feels like she should design a shave soap just for that razor.....

It's about a 2/3 hollow.

Muy bueno, Joel!
While the rest of us sit here looking at the pictures of Joel's latest "New - Favorite" ... has anyone else noticed Joel's sporadic participation today?
Joel, it's time to eat.
Joel, the door bell is ringing.
Joel, your cellpone is ringing. :001_huh:
Joel, it's dark. Would you like me to turn on that spotlight over your new razor and brush for you?
Seriously, nice acquisition, Joel! :thumbup1:

That's almost a 1/4 hollow grind. As Joel said, more like 2/3. I just finished one for another customer with a full hollow grind and I've done a lot of wedges. The quarter hollow grind seems to be extremely popular because it makes a smaller, more maneuverable razor handle with heft and solid momentum like a larger razor. While it won't sing to you while you shave, it won't skip or stall and gives a good, solid shave. So a lot of people are preferring that grind.

Well I don't like it. In fact I wouldn't pick it up if I saw it lying in the street. In fact you could not PAY me to have it. In fact even if the King of Spain came over to my house one day and said 'I want you to have this as a token of my great esteem old chap' I would show him the door and say 'no thank you your Majesty but I have my principles.' In fact if George Bush, Tony Blair and Bill Gates and Alan Sugar and Donald Trump and the Duke of Westminster and over one hundred dusky nubile maidens promising me unheard-of delights begged me to take it I would refuse.
So there (terrible gargling noises off of strangulated jealousy).:cursing:
