The current project in my Graphic Communications class requires us to create an 8 page 5X7 booklet on any topic. I've decided to do a small introduction to wet shaving book.

I've been talking to Joel today about making it some sort of "B&B" intro to shaving book. In any case I do need some help. I would like to use some of the incredible photographic talent I've seen here to feature in the book. As of now, there will be a page dedicated to explaining the basics around:

prep
soaps/creams and lathering
razors
brushes
technique

If anyone would like to volunteer to take some pictures pertaining to these themes I would appreciate it beyond your wildest belief. I will be crediting anyone who contributes too. If I am indunated with photographs, I will probably not be able to use them all. I only ask a few conditions.

1. I will need the pictures at 300dpi. Our printing resolutions are 133 and 150 lpi, so I need original photographs that are 2x that, hence the 300 dpi.
2. I will need to alter most of the pictures. Half of the book will only be printed in 2 colors (probably black and another color). Therefore, some of the pictures may be turned duotones. I am also required to apply some affects such as posterizations, dual-dot halftones, ghosted, b&w etc. I would basically want your permission to alter your photographs to fit the layout.

Thanks again for any response. You can reach me by PM, or my email address is :

If you can adjust the DPI settings, you're welcome to use any of mine (either in the gallery or my reviews) as well. Edit: Let me know if you want the full-size version of anything for DPI adjustment (10 MP)... I've probably still got most of them lying around.
