The D-3 SS that arrived on Christmas Eve was functional. Mechanically very good. A few scratches. It cleaned up OK with the soft scrub stuff and it's shaving well.
So what's the problem, you say? Well sir, it's dull. Very dull. Cheap aluminum pan dull.
I took a trip to the local Ace Hardware today and picked up some MAAS. They had Flitz too, but the MAAS was cheaper and there's enough in the tube to shine many, many razors.
I got home and grabbed the razor and proceeded to scrub it in with a toothbrush and then wiped it clean with some soft paper towels.
Ooooooh! Shiny!
Worth the $5.
