Any brush makers here? I am curious to know the process and how they are done. Can anyone send me some tutorials or anything of that sort?

I think Tony's tutorial over at Golden Nib is very good. I followed his plan for my one and only brush.

How does one go about non wood handles?

Tony is using buffalo horn on one of those...so I would say just the same for horn or plastic or wood. The lath tools and techniques are likely somewhat different however. I think for acrylics people do not use spindle gouges as much as scrapers in the videos I have seen of projects other than brushes (duck calls).

If you have any specific questions, you could try shooting Rudy Vey a PM, he answered all kinds of questions I had.
