Here's the rule. Each post should have a Burma Shave jingle. That's it. That's all. Let's see how this goes. If members like it maybe we can refine it. But for now, just the one rule. I'll start.

Shaving brushes
You'll soon see 'em
On a shelf
In some museum

A fine time to visit the wiki page on Burma-Shave (http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php/Burma-Shave) (links to more jingles, plus commercials). :001_tongu

Dang it! Of course reading it in the wiki loses the interactive fun of it.

Pink toothbrush
Is a curse.
Pink shaving brush
Is a darn sight worse.

Yes, but only a few B&Bers are old enough to have seen the roadside signs; better to give 'em a chance to find them out.

You're that old? :ohmy::lol:

Not me. I was born almost a decade after they quit using the highway signs, and I don't recall seeing any on the side of the road during family trips, either.

You're only a few years older than me, I believe. I was just harassing you.

(And I was just being defensive. And where'd the gray in my beard come from?)

From putting up with guys only a couple years younger than you who love to call you an "old man"?

From dyeing individual hairs?

From skydiving?

(Do I need to continue?)

Yes. Maybe.

From skydiving?

Nah, skydiving keeps you young. Jumping from 1200 feet into the jungle, on the other hand, probably adds a few grey hairs (ask Dad)...or maybe it was raising a smartass son with a penchant for V8 engines and explosives, just like his old man.

(Do I need to continue?)

No, that'll do, you young punk. And get off my lawn.

He played
A sax
Had no b.o.
But his whiskers scratched
So she let him go.

Listen Birds,
These signs cost money.
Roost a while,
But don't get funny.

Thanks soapbox. I was just about to declare this thread officially hijacked.

Funny. The only thing I found on that page was this:

1 Tip of a flat belly
Cut down a bit
of your belly every day
by using this 1
weird old tip

Very creative. :thumbup1: the jingle is under the 'burma-shave' section, though.
