So I don't exactly know what constitutes a superlather, but most times I see it referenced people are discussing mixing soaps and creams to create some sort of unholy concoction. I usually don't like doing such things as I don't want to taint my soaps in any way, but today I couldn't help try something new. Plus you can't really taint your tube-creams the same way. I mean, unless you hold the dispensing ends together and squeeze really hard, but who would do such a thing!?
Anyway, I really wanted some menthol in my setup, but my CO Bigelow/ Proraso has been demoted since I found so many other great creams and soaps. I love my Godrej cream, but I've used it the last few days and I wanted a bit of a change. If I only had Godrej Menthol Mist, my problems would have been solve but alas... then I got the amazing idea to *gasp* mix the Godrej and Bigelow. I must say that my experiment worked out pretty well. The Godrej bumped up the efficacy of the Bigelow and the Bigelow added just the right amount of menthol. I can honestly say that I have never seen such thick lather too. It could have been more slick, but, wow, did I have gobs of fluffy white lather! I'd be interested in your thoughts, ladies and gentlemen, on more creamy greatness.

Superlather doesn't taint your soap - just load the brush with soap first, and then add the cream. From there you can face/bowl lather.

I guess if you're a die-hard "lather on top of the soap" guy it might be a problem.

Godrej Menthol Mist is colder than Proraso (Bigelow). So if you actually mixed the two, your face would probably be numb for an hour. :lol1:

Godrej is the bomb. :w00t:

So you're using the Godrej rich cream? That's an interesting mix, but I'm kind of surprised that you don't have any menthol mist handy. Isn't it the easiest flavor to find?

If you're looking for menthol mist, you might try a local Indian grocery (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=indian+grocery+near%3A+slc%2C+ut).

I have some of the Menthol Mist on order actually, and I just got impatient. The mix really was quite nice though. I don't know of any Indian grocers that carry the creams, but I did find one with some really cheap looking razors! Until the MM gets here I might need to try my concoction out again.

I've had ok results with godrej and proraso, but not nearly as good as godrej and jm frasers. if you want a slickness and a nice lather definitely try the godrej/jm frasers combo. it's awesome!
