I just returned home from a great day spent with my SWMBO. For dinner, she took to a Conoco station in Wautauga, TX. I know what you might be thinking when you read "Conoco station" and dinner in the same sentence. It was not reheated burritos and Doritos but braised ox-tails, veal saltimbocca and the like. It turns out this chef couldn't get a loan from the bank to open a restaurant so he opened one in a gas station. So you can get a tank of gas, bottle of soda and some really good grub all at one place.

And if you are in this neck of the woods (Metroplex) it is definitely worth a stop. The ox-tails were braised until the meat was fall-off-the-bone. And the bread pudding...yeah, it was good.
