It was a tough choice, too hard to call, so I went with two of each:

#66 and Bull Mastiff
3/1 Super and X2L Best
Tabac and Irisch Moos
Marlborough AS and Arlington ASB
Tommy Bahama and Romeo Gigli Uomo

So? To my college peers heading home for the holiday... what's tiding you over for the duration?

I will be taking my usual kit:

Williams shaving soap
COB cream
Glycerin
Gillette SS
Merkur Blades
Burma-Shave brush

The first three ingredients make a badass superlather for real cheap!

I commute, so...Next year I will study abroad in Germany and plan to not shave during the week, but to shave when I visit my grandparents on weekends. I will probably keep the Tabac line and my Shavemac D01 there.

See, I'll be home for almost a month. Therein lies the difference :001_tongu

I'm in grad school, rather than college, but I'll be headed back to the East Coast for two weeks, and will probably bring my C&E travel shave brush, my Merkur HD, a pack of Wilkinson Swords, and a tube of the Body Shop Shave Cream. I have some sticks of Arko back at home, so I'll be able to use those as well.

The stuff I listed is my usual kit, and I will only be gone for a few days over Christmas.

I graduate a week from today! :w00t: But I commute to college so I don't have to worry about moving anything. I do remember being in your shoes though and trying to decide what to take and how long to stay home.:wink2:

KISS knife approach:

- Brush-less C&E cream (not that bad for 2 weeks)
- C&E AS (quite good, actually)
- 5 pk Gillette NACET's that should be waiting for me at home, and finally,
- Me' trusty Mergress, courtesy of Mer's ingenuity and dedication to the art!

While in Germany find your local Drogerie, I bet you will find traditional shaving cream. A friend of mine recently came back from Germany and got me Alando Shave Cream (made in Germany), Wilkerson-Sword Shave Cream and Irisch Moos.

I'm not in college or grad school, but I am going home for Christmas. I can't decide what to take razor-wise. I've just about settled on my cooncatbob amboyna burl New, but I also love my Slim. Decisions, decisions!
