View Full Version : Will freezing hurt a brush?

Granted, it's an el-cheapo from Beauty Rose. Around 15 dollars; Some type of badger-grown item.

Anyhow, a slight situation came up where I was forced to leave my shaving kit sitting around for about 2 days as I was in the middle of using it. Result was that Proraso foam was frozen into the hair for about that time.

After retrieving, warming and rinsing it, it seems to be working fine, but any ideas if this has caused damage to it?

The real risk is that if a wet/damp brush freezes, the water in the knot can expand and crack the handle.
