Different razor different angle?

I love my HD and am getting BBS regularly now. Recently got a SS red tip, but not having the same luck. The SS seems to me to be alot less aggresive. In order to get close to BBS I have to make many more touch-up passes. I really enjoy the SS as I get no irritation unless I go for BBS.
My question good Gents is this- Does the SS requite more or less angle compared to the HD?:blushing:

The SS, as you have recently found out, is a less aggressive razor. They provide one with an irritation free shave, if used properly. I wouldn't recommend changing the blade angle. This could lead to a less than satisfactory shave ie: irritation/razor burn. My suggestion would be to embrace the SS experience for what it is and enjoy a DFS. :c9:

The Red Tip Superspeed is more aggressive only when compared against other Superspeeds of it's time period. Your Merkur HD is most certainly a more aggressive razor than the red tip.

That being said, the Red Tip is an awesome razor, fully capable of giving a very close, and comfortable shave.

If your HD is giving you a better shave I'd say to stick with it. I'm not sure but it looks as if you're on the way to RAD. Not that that's a problem, but just beware that razor's do mate overnight. :w00t: :laugh: :biggrin1: :001_rolle

+1. I think one of mine got a hold of my credit card, because new razors just keep showing up.:biggrin1:
