I believe this is my first run with the Grafton...very pleasant scent. The sample is a bit dry, so I had to use a little more water than normal, however, the resulting lather and shave were very satisfying.

Today was really a revelation for me: Instead of letting the brush soak for 2-3 minutes while I let the pre/post do its work, I left it in the bowl of hot water for about 20 mins while taking a shower. The result was marvellous: the bristles were really soft and soaked and now I finally get how you can get enough lather into the brush for multiple passes like all the pictures you guys put up here... Really nice shave today!

A Simpson's Chubby 1 in Best. These bristles are so soft - I just can't understand it. I know it's bristle are "best" by the look - but it's easily as soft as a Shavemac, etc... No worries - that's a good thing.:001_tt1:

So today I brought a tube of Taylors Sandalwood Shaving Cream and filled some samples of Trumpers Sandalwood Cologne as my default racquetball setup.

An edit to the below, I simply could not wait till after my haircut to shave with the straight again, I only do it when I'm not working. So I went ahead and did it. I got the BEST shave EVER with it just now! This was probably the 10th or 11th shave with a str8 and man is it nice!! WOW!

This is what it's all about!
