If I recall, the Jermyn Street has no parabens and a different, fougere scent. I really like Jermyn Street and have found the lather to be just as good as all the other TOBS flavors except Avocado.

Resurrecting this topic as I am interested in it too. I was exchanging some messages with a retailer and was told that the latest batches of all scents say "Parabens Free" on the bottom of the jar, under the UPC code. Could someone who has recently acquired a TOBS cream please confirm?

Tan Tub = Fragrance free
Black Tub = Beautiful fragrance! :001_smile
They are different formulas.
The tan/white tub:
Aqua, Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Acid, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis, Allantoin, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.
The black tub:
Aqua (Water), Stearic Acid, Mystiric Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Acid, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Parfum (Fragrance) Sodium Hydroxide, Bisabolol.
I've got the tan tub. Very nice and smooth cream, but it's a real sensitive skin cream since it is totally unscented.

Does your tub say "Parabens Free" on the bottom under the UPC bars? I got a sample of the Sensitive which was made in front of me and it does have a scent, I'm starting to think that maybe the cap on the jar was wrong? Mine smells somewhat close to T&H Grafton.

Yep, it does. I snapped a picture of the bottom of my tub:

I can't really say it smells anything significant, but then again my nose isn't the most refined. Perhaps it may be argued it has a very, very faint clean smell, somewhat similar to my Nivea Aftershave Balm for Sensitive Skin. It's pretty much odorless.
SirWhiskers, are you sure you didn't get a sample from the black tub? That one is scented and the black tub and the tan/white tub are two completely different creams. The tan/white tub doesn't really have a scent (other than what the ingredients smell like) and there is no added fragrance.

No, the tub was clearly not black, it was tan. But the cap on the jar may have been mixed up from a different jar, so I may have gotten something that is neither the Sensitive nor the Jermyn, but I love the scent! What a mystery!
What color is the cream? If it is a light brown color you may have gotten the Mr. Taylor cream.

It's just white color, but not that bright as snow white, maybe with a slight tint towards cream color. Definitely not light brown.
Well, I guess you could go back to the store to verify what it is or maybe just order the TOBS cream sampler from Shaving Essentials...I suppose there is always the possibility that you're detecting a scent that the rest of us don't smell.

I ordered the Sensitive tan jar from Amazon (sold by MiN New York but fulfilled by Amazon). I can't believe this, the cream smells exactly like the sample I have and the back of the tub on the ingredients list I see "Parfum", unlike the photo posted in this thread above.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Acid, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis, Allantoin, Parfum, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothaizolinone.
So there are 2 versions out there of the same tan tub Sensitive cream with the same UPC? This is very strange. I wonder if the scent/perfume is the same as the black jar Jermyn version.
I can send someone who has a tub of the Jermyn version a sample to compare in terms of scent and also performance. If you are interested, please PM me.
Here's what my tub looks like:

I snapped a picture of the bottom of my tub:
Tzar, does the top of your jar look like in the photo below, or like in mine above? Thanks.

The top of my jar looks like exactly like your first picture above. It is not this "hypoallergenic shaving cream", it's really the shaving cream for sensitive skin.
I am mystified by the fact that my ingredients list is identical to yours, expect that it has no parfum inserted between allantoin and benzyl alcohol
Oh well. Go figure

Interesting. Now which one is the "new" formula? With or without "parfum"?

Tzar, from the post here:

The sides of the tub are marked with "Taylor of Old Bond Street" twice, the creams are now also paraben free as has already been mentioned, and some of the scents have changed as a result of this reformulation. Also the inside of the lid is now marked with TOBS' logo and the internal cover is transparent and not opaque as well.
Does your container meet the description above? Your unscented cream may be the "new" formula while I keep getting the "old" one as my tub doesn't have the side "Taylor of Old Bond Street" marking.

No, I don't have anything written on the sides of my tub. There is only the product sticker on top and the ingredients list under the tub. Also, there is no logo inside. I do have the transparent inner lid.
The Hypoallergenic cream was discontinued a year ago or longer. The Sensitive Skin cream in the tan tub was brought out to replace it.

And it was brought out in two flavors: with and without perfume. It seems to be a crapshoot which one you get when you order.

Today I got a generous sample of Jermyn St. from a very generous member here. To me it smells just like the scented Sensitive version that I have.
So far I have identified 4 TOBS creams for sensitive skin:
1. Jermyn St., black tub, scented
2. Sensitive scented, tan tub, same scent as Jermyn St. (at least to my nose) but different ingredients from Jermyn St.
3. Sensitive unscented, tan tub, same ingredients as the scented Sensitive, sans perfume
4. Hypoallergenic, tan tub, discontinued but may still be able to find NOS.
I think I have solved the TOBS sensitive mystery. If you have or know of other flavors, please speak up.
