1951 Gillette Super Speed Black Tip w/ Red Israeli Blades

Here is my first razor, a 1951 Gillette Super Speed. This is a great razor in really good condition.

Everything is shiny except there is some plate loss on the bottom of the head, and some pitting on the handle. It is not mint or NOS, but in very good condition. The doors open and close great.

I think this is the perfect beginners razor. I don't collect razors, and I have a more aggressive vintage Gillette that I use daily. I promised myself that when I got my newest razor I'd sell this one.

Sorry for the crummy pictures. If you a newbie let me know and I'll throw in a 5 pack of Red Israeli blades, which are my favorite blade and also great for a newbie.

I'm thinking $17.50 shipped CONUS is about right. If not, feel free to let me know if I've over and under priced this razor.

I think it a fair price. Even with the brassing, it looks to be in overall good shape and that razor wasn't manufactured very long. Good luck! :thumbup1:

I guess it was fair price... it sold in 9 minutes!!! It's a great razor and I know he'll like it. I'm a little sad to see it go.... but of course, that means I can justify buying more creams!!!!! :thumbup:
