I've been shopping for a cheap entry level brush, and came across a Tweezerman brush for $20.

Is there a consensus on whether or not Tweezerman is a good entry level brush at that price, or is it worth spending a little more on a C&E brush?

I haven't tried the $20 Tweezerman, but I do have the $10 Tweezerman. I much prefer the C&E Best.

Same here, got it from Ebay the $10 version its NOT a bad brush certainly for a beginner /newbie. its pure badger and def. performs better then a cheap boar brush in the same price category. would I buy it again ?

No I think even a beginner should def. go for the C&E more bang for the buck the tweezerman just screams " EL CHEAPO " wood handle.

I have the C&E Best. Can't beat it. Holds water like unbelievable. Great buy at $35.

$20 for a Tweezerman seems rather high; they typically go for $10-15. Its a decent little brush for $10 or so but I wouldn't pop $20 for it.

"You get what you pay for" (and sometimes you'll overpay)....but in this case I think the tweezerman is a decent brush for the money.

I had the tweezerman for a few years, and while it shed a little bit at first it was a great beginers brush. Good bang for the buck. I still have it.

I highly recommend it for the first brush.

If it's the 100% Badger Deluxe Shaving Brush, $20 is too much. You can get it for $15 at Whole Foods.

Not a bad brush, if you're really looking to buy on the cheap, but for $35, you can get a much nicer brush at Crabtree & Evelyn.

I believe there is only one wood handled tweezerman brush, although I know they offer a woman's brush. Both of them are 100% badger hair, and are very good values.

The best deal i've found by far is at BeautyRose.Com $!0 + Shipping (http://search.store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/nsearch?follow-pro=1&vwcatalog=beautyrose&query=badger&SUBMIT=Search&.autodone=http://www.beautyrose.com/nsearch.html&catalog=beautyrose&select=Choose%20a%20Brand...)
