Fountain Pen advice [Archive]

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a good starter fountain pen as a Christmas gift. I want something less than $100. I have looked at the Waterman Hemisphere or the Waterford Claria. Does anyone have any experience with these pens?

I recently got a Safari Al Star for around $40. I really like how it writes.
