The first thing I'd do would be to make sure I'm not using any pressure on the razor during the shave. Don't use ANY pressure at all, just the weight of the razor is enough. Also be aware of the angle of the blade on your face. Watch Mantic's video's on shaving.
Last, get hold of an alum block to use after your shave is done. The block is antiseptic and is good for your face. When you're done shaving rinse first with warm water, and then cold water. With your face still wet rub the alum block all over and letr the alum sit while you clean up your shave gear, shave area, etc. Then rinse the alum off with cold water, pat dry, and apply a nice balm to the shaved area. It may take a few days or a week, but your face should respond for the better. Good luck, and let us know how things are going. :thumbup1:

Sounds like razor burn. Take it easy on the pressure, watch the angle, and shave gently for the next several days!

I had the same problem. the next time i shaved i used less pressure and things got better... give your face some time to get used to the new way of shaving... and make sure have good pre-shave prep, and lather, that's what they told me here when i asked...:001_smile
I've had some similar issues on my throat area.
+1 on the pressure and the alum block.
I find if you hold the razor at the end of the handle it helps with not applying too much pressure. Mantic's videos helped a bunch. There is one where he shows you how to hold it like a dart or a spoon depending on the direction you are shaving.
Good luck.

You mean to tell me I shouldn't be wrapping my entire fist around the handle when I shave? :scared:

No, and it really helps if you stick your pinky out as if you were drinking a cup of tea.:tongue_sm

No pressure, go slow, short strokes!
If you passed the 3 shaves with your blade, change it!

For me bumps mean I shaved against the grain by mistake - you may need to spend some more time mapping your beard growth to make sure you're going entirely WTG for the first pass at least.
