IMHO, Merkur blades aren't of a sufficient quality to warrant that price. I don't think you'll be able to find many who wouldn't rather spend that amount of money on some Israelis or Astros. I can almost guarantee you that no one will trade his feathers for merkurs.

Thanks for the info, I don't know much about blades (yet). I only went based on the prices I saw at online retailers where Merkur seems to be slightly more expensive than Feather.

I bought these with my Merkur HD razor a couple of months ago and never used them as I am going through a bunch of blade samplers. So far I like Feather and Iridium.

I did try the Merkur sample blade that came with my HD and being the very first blade I tried I have no opinion on it.

I am open to price suggestions or any kind of trades, we're not talking about a lot of money here.

I don't think that your price is out of line for what you would have to pay for Merkur blades. I have to agree that it might not be likely someone would trade you Feathers straight across for Merkurs.
