What is your real name?
James
What are your nicknames/aliases?
Blade Wielder (SRP)
Where do you live?
Ottawa, Canada.
What is your age (or) generation?
23. Generation Y...the hell do you use a straight razor, you weirdo?
What are you in the real world?
Well, until recently I was a university student - but I graduated. The real world scares me, though, so I may go back and do an M.A.
Until then, I'm working a job I find very boring, but I make up for that by doing a half-assed job. You know, just enough to coast along
without being noticed? This job provides me money to buy food and straight razors.
What is your favorite shave setup?
Recently, I've been using a nice Henckel I got on eBay. It's a 5/8 spike point and it does a great job. I think the razor is the most important
part of the shaving ritual, so I don't really have many other accessories to brag about. My strop is a thick leather belt from a thrift store; my
shaving cream is some inexpensive German brand that comes in a tube (I like it, though); and my shaving brush is one I picked up at Wal-Mart
for seven bucks. Oh, and my aftershave balm is from the drug store. It's spearmint. I think it smells refreshing. I'll eventually get around
to upgrading each of these items, but I enjoy spending my money on the razors, mostly.
What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
I play guitar, drums and a few other instruments. I collect razors, LPs, old books and antiques. Biking, golf, concerts, cooking.
What else should the members of B&B know about you?
I'll get back to you on that.
