Mark,
I still have both the lime green and the chocolate suits you gave me. People at the garage sale won't even buy them!

I remember those awful parachute pants and "Member's Only" jackets. Why is it that most fads are very forgetable?

I used to go to work in the Sears paint department in nineteen and seventy-five with my baby blue leisure suit, high heel white shoes and white belt, polyester disco shirt, and two, count 'em two mood rings. I thought I was one supremely cool dude. :001_cool:
Oh, the humanity!!

I sported a flattop in grade school, and wore "Hammer pants", with white K-swiss shoes, and one of those thin pullover windbreakers.
....yeah I was pretty much a vanilla ice lookalike at the time....now I fele ashamed of that....it was truly horrible.
What makes kids do that? I did it, and even I don't know why.

A rocker mullet, "Hammer pants", and a fluorescent green fanny-pack (a 'bumbag' in the UK). And white socks. Feel the shame.
At least I wasn't the guy wearing one red and one blue Converse Allstars, with fluorescent fingerless gloves (one green one orange), and a red turquoise and black Campri ski jacket.
This is where I find out there's a DE shaving Campri ski jacket collector out there I have just offended! :scared:

Streaking! Definitely a passing fad because there was nothing to it.

I remember carpenter pants, and you had to have one of those rat-tail combs in the side pocket. Before that it was the switch blade comb in the back pocket.

Exactly correct, my man. Gosh, I hadn't thought about those in years. I think they were called TravelKnit or something like that.

Oh no...I had one too! Remember when gatorade first came out? It was offered to my boss at the time(he owns the pepsi plants in three counties) anyway he turned it down cause he said it was only a fad...the owners of the local coke plant got it and still sell the crap out of it.
