What's the most comfortable Home Clothing ?
Are confortable and elegant in conflict with each other?
What about Pyjamas?
What should you, in the spirit of Badger&Blade gentleman-ness, wear at home,
I mean, in the evenings, in the weekends . . .
And what di you really wear ?
PS:
This is my first post
This is my first DE Razor Week
I've never felt so beautifully shaved
I almost don't have to shave two consecutive days
(of course I do it because those 30 minutes are sacred)
I'm from Italy, so please excuse my horrible english

Those housepant/pajama bottoms you can find at Costco in a 3 pack or at Target for about 10 bucks, Costco wool blend socks, and a t-shirt makes for a great day of lounging for a movie or some xbox.

The moment I get home from work the suit comes off and, if I'm not going anywhere, it's PJ bottoms or sweats and a t-shirt in the winter or gym shorts and a t-shirt in the summer.
No reason for a smoking jacket in my world.

If I`m inside the house usually a polo shirt and budgie smugglers (Speedo) if I`m outside doing the yard or the cars, I`ll throw some ruggers shorts on and thongs (flip flops) or Birkenstocks. In winter I`ll usually swap the shorts for Levi`s and a footy jumper if I`m going outside and the thongs for R M Williams yard boots.

When I'm at home, just lounging: Clean hospital scrub bottoms that were appropriated from the hospital. I usually wear a plain, white t-shirt on top with low crew cut socks on my feet. If it's cold, the hoodie is put into service.

Must be something about Michigan (I grew up in Grand Rapids) as this is also my lounging attire at home. Only I bought my scrubs rather than stole them.

It depends on my job list but when I get home it's uniform off and into my civies. This often consists of a pair of cavalry breeches that work well with my muck boots teamed with a t shirt and topped out with my remington stalker jacket or drizabone 3/4 stockman jacket. Quite a sight to behold out on the fens with my dogs! :001_smile

Neil and I operate much the same here. Minute I'm home its PJ bottoms and a t shirt or sweat shirt.
Granted...being as we're in suits all day, I find that I want to dress WAY down at home...maybe I'm compesating for the over the top dress the rest of the day?

What he said, scrubs are VERY comfortable. If it gets cold enough I'll just put on some pajama pants and a teeshirt.
However, there are those days when nobodies home and I just walk around in my boxers :001_tongu

Flannel pajama bottoms and a t-shirt if I have nothing to do.
I hate meeting days when I have to wear a tie. Can't see how you guys wear suits everyday. God bless you for taking the bullet for us.
LL Bean Flannel Pajamas.
Well worth the ridiculously high price!

Despite living in Calgary where it's pretty darn chilly a good chunk of the year (with the exception of about a week or two in July) you can always count upon me to wear shorts and t-shirts. I'll even shovel snow in shorts and a t-shirt. I don't wear socks; hate socks. Don't like long-sleeved shirts unless I'm going out. I REALLY need to move somewhere more appropriate for my clothing preferences.

I love the rare evening when I have nothing going on after work and I can get rid of the dress clothes and put on the flannel pajama pants and a T-shirt.

I work from home, most days.
I strut around in my robe for far too many hours before switching to jeans and a polo. (note: writing this while robed)
If I'm out of the house, when I come back I stay shoe'd and clothed until after dinner (to keep feet protected during cooking), at which point I'll just de-shoe and evacuate the pockets for comfort.
For "pyjamas", as in sleepwear, I stick to the "the best form of pyjama is that which covers least.".. or something to that effect. (read: boxers)

I wear my old karate gi pants (similar to this http://www.mykaratestore.com/store/pages-productinfo/category-1_6/product-43/uniforms-belts-traditional-style-tiger-claw-black-mediumweight-karate-uniform-100-percent-cotton.html ). I trained in them for years, so with quite literally hundreds of washings, these heavy cotton pants are so soft and comfortable, and they offer a lot of room. As for a shirt, I tend to wear a simple t-shirt. If it's cold out, my carhartt sweatshirt is always a safe bet.

Being a nurse think I might be one of the few who puts on less comfortable clothing after work. Soon as I get home off come the scrubs and on goes the jeans and t-shirts or in winter a sweat shirt. What are these suit things you all speak of?

I have a few things in rotation, nothing at all fancy and these items came from the Walmart. I mainly use cotton or flannel PJ bottom pants. I have 4 of those...one camo, one Family Guy, one Ford logo, one solid blue in flannel. For shirts I use oversized t-shirts in colors...solid colors like red and blue. I also use long sleeve T-shirts when it is cooler. I hope this helps. :)

Summer - Shorts & T-Shirt (keep it 74˚ / 75˚in the warmer months)
Winter - Lounge Pants & T-Shirt and maybe my robe depending on temps. I normally keep my place around 67˚ in the winter

Whatever I happen to be wearing, as soon as the doorbell rings it all comes off. There's nothing like casual nudity to dissuade those door-to-door types.
