Straight razor question

I have to admit the 1st 2 or 3 times I shaved w/ my straight i did not strop it. Could this have dulled it? Did my next shave and it seems a little better but... wondering it I could have inadvertently dulled the blade?

nope. I may have felt dull, but a stropping is all it needed.
