Gillette DEs made in the early 1980's [Archive]

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knew about how many Gillette DE's were made in the early 80s. I know they made the black handled adjustable and super speed, but how many of each were made? Were there any other Gillettes made during that time? How often do we see D coded (from 83) razors show up on the bay or BST?

I got a 1988 as a birth year razor for my son, NIB, right here on the BST.

I got my birth year/quarter one on the BST (August 1983)
