I recently picked up some strops and brushes as part of a lot that I would like to pass on to someone else.

First up are two strops, one used and one "new." As you can see, the Dubl Duck Satinedge Pearlduck strop is well used, and would like serve as a great practice strop. The Illinois 992 strop is unused, but is a bit old. There is some spotting on the metal at the top, but the leather and linen both seem to be in excellent condition. I'm asking $18.00 shipped CONUS for the pair. SOLD!

The brushes aren't all that--there are two metal Rubberset handles here that are in serviceable condition. If someone is interested in having some practice handles for restoration, these should work. All the brushes shown are included. I'm asking $6.00 shipped CONUS. If these don't sell, I'll likely toss them. SOLD!

Got the strops this morning and they are fabulous! I'm one step closer to straights and a whole new AD. Dealing with guys like Robert is what makes B&B is so great, so I wanted to issue a public thanks to him. THANK YOU!!!

I bought the lot off the 'bay for a little over $30 shipped--it also included a full roll of the ancient Colgate Barber Soap, which was the real objective of my purchase. $18 shipped seemed like a fair asking price for the strops since I'm not looking to profit. What matters most to me is that I got the strops into the hands of someone who will actually use them. I lack the coordination and patience for straights. :blushing:
