I just got my Kent BK12 in the mail. Omg this brush just screams luxury. The imitation ivory handle is nice and heavy, unlike my cheap Chinese brush and I love the feel of it in my hand. It's not as enormous as I was fearing it might be, which is a good thing because it feels nice and manageable. There are a ton of bristles in this thing, I can't wait to try it out! :001_tt1:

Congrats on your acquisition. The Kent BKs are nice brushes. The BK8 was my first "high end" brush, and although I'm more partial to Simpsons and Plissons now, I still have a soft spot for the Kent, which will always have a place in my collection. I can't imagine a BK12, though; the BK8 is plenty big for me. But the main thing is you like it. Enjoy!

I think I may be coming around on none of the Kents other than the B&B LE 08 interest me.

I purchased a BLK12 from B&B member benvh two weeks ago (Thanks!!) Just like yours but for the black handle. I agree, this thing is cherry!! I have large hands and the heft and size are such that I think I have great control over this brush and the approximately eleventy million bristles contained therein! I have yet to use it. It sounds a bit corny but I've got a few creams ordered and I'm waiting for the best day/time/setup/event to bust this baby out! It sits in its red leather sarcophagus, waiting...

Congrats on the brush. That thing has got to be huge. I have the BK4, and that's plenty big for me. Enjoy. :thumbup1:

Back in the early days of Badger & Blade, BIG brushes were quite in vogue. I once owned the BK12 and it is indeed "KING SIZED" as Kent brushes states. My current go to brush is a rather hefty Vulfix #41... no shrinking violet either. I like these big brushes for sure and they do help you get through your product faster!

I showed the pic to my BK4 and he went and hid in the medicine cabinet.
