No other BBQ sauce has as much mystery surrounding it as the white sauce. This recipe is from the cookbook of Big Bob Gibson's Bar-B-Q (http://www.bigbobgibsonbbq.com/main.htm)located in Decatur, Alabama. Famous for its chicken, they dip the whole chicken in it before BBQing it and then serve some on the side.

Use as a marinade, baste or dipping sauce-

2 cups mayonnaise
1 cup white wine vinegar
2 tsp of prepared horseradish
2 tsp fine ground black pepper
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Whisk all ingredients until blended.

Psst....I add 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard:001_smile

Now I'm hungry. As a matter of fact, I'll be in Decatur in the morning. May have to get a BBQ topped baked potato at Big Bob Gibson's now. Imagine a watermelon sized baked potato topped with butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon, pulled meat (I usually go for the chicken), and a bottle of white sauce to wet everything down.
