I found this in an antique store this morning, bought it for six dollars. Looks like it's in decent shape, scales are cracked on one side. Blade says "REX Warranted" on one side and "M. Tregor & Sons M.I. Germany" on the other.

Is this worth restoring and if so would one of you razor wizards want to take a crack at it? What is the cost for a service like that?

I have yet to shave with a straight, but I hope to have a shave ready one to learn on in the near future. I've been admiring some of the beautiful scales you all have done and I'd like some of these wonderful objects in my home.

Thanks!

OMG. That razor is HUGE.

Oh, wait, it's just the photo .

But all joking aside that looks like it could be used as it is right now with just a honing. It's definitely a restore candidate.
