This one was really fun to work on, and its been in the works for quite awhile off and on. I decided that I really liked the way it looked with a bit of age, so I did not remove all of the pitting. I left the tang and tail a bit rusted because it just suited the razor so well, with all its beefiness :)

The blade is a ~6/8 W&B wedge rescaled in ebony with a purpleheart spacer and nickel silver pins with stacked SS and brass washers, with double pins on the wedge. I originally dubbed these scales "Spanish Point", but after further reflection I realized that I subconciously created them more after a Falchion (http://images.google.com/images?q=falchion+sword&oe=utf-8&rls=com.ubuntu:en-US:unofficial&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=63bLSvi-MYWqsgOVxs2dAQ&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1), which is of European origin. Thus, I have re-dubbed these scales the "Falchion Point" scales :)

Forgive me for the poor pics, I'm still working on that :)

Wow, that wedge is 'beefy'! I love the scales too. Excellent work.

Thanks for your comments Gents

I forgot that I also had some before pics... The scales were the original horn, but I was unable to salvage them... I overdid it a bit on fixing the warp and they didnt make it, unfortunately, lol.
