As most of you all know, Jean over at My Time Bath and Body is awesome and will definitely try her best to customize an order to your liking. That being said, I ordered a 10/10 Menthol cream with a strong scent of tea tree oil and look forward to trying that bad boy out later this week. I just had to go with the strong menthol after reading all the raves about it on here, and I'm an avid fan of the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo line, so hopefully this experimental concoction comes out smelling like a winner. Review to follow a bit later.
Anyone else experimented with any scent combos that worked well with the menthol?

Now add some Dr. Bronner's Eucalyptus body wash into the mix and you are all set :thumbup1:

I'm about to finish up a tub of her 10/10 Menthol that I requested with a Rosemary/Spearmint scent. It's fantabulously face-freezing and it smells wonderful. Great stuff, no doubt.

I am almost done with a tub of the menthol 10/10. Did any of you find the tubs not to last long? Maybe I used too much cream, but it seems the tub has only been used for a month or so. Does adding a scent to the menthol, weaken the menthol's coldness?

As to the longevity question, I mostly use soaps, so my creams last quite a while. But it's my understanding that the scent doesn't weaken the menthol punch...mine is definitely turned up to 11.
Congrats on 8 grand by the way!

I'm willing to bet that lavender or rose probably works really well with the menthol. If I'm wrong...then um...no...I'm not willing to bet. But it sure sounds nice!

Shipped out Monday, so hopefully I'll be getting this today to give a whirl before I head off to work for the evening shift.

Finally got this bad boy on Tuesday and gave it a go Tuesday night before bed. Between the combination of 10/10 Menthol and a hefty helping of tea tree oil, this stuff has some chill to it. :c5:
Nicely packaged cream container that went nicely with my other two creams sitting on my shave den counter. Upon opening the package, this stuff looked night and day different than my TOBS and T&H creams. It was a greasy off brown looking color (think tan neosporin) as opposed to a creamy looking white paste. After soaking my silvertip brush, I shook out the water and gave it a few circles in the soap container and started working up a lather in my mug. Holy crap, this stuff is thirsty alright, and I had to add a bit more water than my TOBS and T&H creams. That's ok with me though because it means I get more lather per soap used. Once I got the lather going, my whole bathroom started to smell like Vick's vapor rub.
Once my lather was made, I started working it into my face with my brush.
My whole face quickly went insta numb and my sinuses were pretty much instantly cleared once I had gotten lather applied. The lather coated my face extremely well and definitely kept things moisturized underneath the ice blanket. With each successive relathering of my face for further passes, my face just got colder and colder. As the coup de grace, when I rinsed with cold water, my face got even colder still and remained cold for a good several minutes.
Definitely a fun shaving experience.

All you need now is some Osage Rub!
