I have been bitten by FPAD (fountain pen AD), thanks Sluggo! I have a Super 21 and love it, but I would like to find a 51 aeromatic. I don't know what a good price is and where to find one online. There are really no thrift store/antique stores to browse up here. Thanks.

Thanks, I posted a WTB. Hopefully it bears some fruit.

who has a good reputation on the fountain pen discussion boards. His name is Ariel Kullock and he's based in Argentina. He has a website and also sells on eBay. I don't remember the whole story, but I believe Parker had a factory in Buenos Aires for the South American market. I believe he was able to buy either equipment and or old stock. He sells basic 51s as well as modified ones - ornately decorated caps, etc. He and his sister attend a lot of the big pen shows - I spoke to her at the LA Pen Show a year or two ago - their pens are really beautiful. A little pricey, but you basically get a brand new 51. You can do a search on the Fountain Pen Network site for threads/reviews of his stuff.
