I have been going to Jets games for over twenty years. I have never heard the crowd so loud. I still have a headache. But a good headache. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS. It's been a long time lets just hope it lasts.

I'm a long suffering Jets fan too and watched the game on TV here in North Carolina. There was no question that you could sense something was different during this game. Jets fans can be as loud as any fans in America but yesterday they were off the charts. Then again, I attended a lot of games at Shea as a kid and more at Giants Stadium as an adult and in that time there were only a few games as meaningful or important. So I guess yesterday a lot of things came together to make the game what it was.

Settle down guys - it's the Jets you are talking about. I remember the same discussion last year when Favre was the QB. Weren't the Jets like 8-3 or something?
At the end of year, the Jets will still stink, and the Pats will own the division.
Why do Jets fans/players always talk trash in September, but not in December?

Please point out the trash talk in the first two posts? I only see talk about the fans and the atmosphere. I realize that few teams have made Brady look as bad as he did yesterday but that's no reason to flame. You'll have a chance to get back at the Jets. Yes, you'll have Welker back, but keep in mind that the Jets will have Pace back from suspension so each team will be a little bit better next time around. Should make for another interesting game.

I'm no Pats fan. I'm just pointing out facts about the sorry Jets.

Well thanks for pointing that out, although I'm sure we could have done without it. :001_rolle By the way, I'm not a Jets fan either...:001_smile.

What in anything I wrote was trash talk? The Jets out played one of the best teams in the league for 60 minutes and the fans responded to their effort. If the Jets out played the Lions I doubt the stadium would have be so explosive. If anything you sound more like a sore loser since nothing I said would be concidered trash talk.

It's nice when your team gives you a reason to get excited :thumbup1:
