SOLD!! Thanks B&B and Tim!!

Here's an exceptional TV razor in near mint condition (using the rating guidelines on the sticky). I have several of these, so I've decided to turn one loose. It's very shiny...the doors look even better than depicted below with the macro shot.

I paid $35 for it, and that's what I'm selling it for, including shipping and paypal fees. US only please...I'm traveling some and don't have frequent post office access.

Wow, that looks nice. It looks like the date code is D2. Is that correct?

That's a great looking razor, Lynn, and I like the knurling. Is that knurling unique to the '58 TV razor?

Yep. That and the fancy case are what makes them TV Specials.

Tim, yes, the date code is indeed D2 -- good eye!

Chris already answered Randy's question about the knurling...yes, it's unique to the '58 TV.

For those who are curious (as I was), normal Flare Tip SSs, such as these (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=106518), have lines around the handle, as well as down it. As you see above, there are no lines around the handle on the TV, only down.

Anyway, this thing is a beauty, and if I hadn't just gotten that Z3 from Randy (which I immediately fell in love with, by the way!), it would be easier for me to justify giving up $35 for it. This will make someone very happy.

I've have recently acquired a '57 SS and a '58 SS TV and my (apparently not so) perceptive eye didn't catch the difference in the handle :blush:

What is knurling? Do you the case for this?

Knurling is the "pattern" i the handle.
