Also a noob question which size brush is best to buy:blushing:

I think you'll be able to find your stand at one of the many shave gear sites. As for the size of the brush its all a matter of preference. I have a good size hand, but give me a smaller brush anytime. In fact my largest brush is 23mm. I'll go for a 20 or 21mm most of the time. My travel brush is a 19mm. Again its all a matter of what you feel best with. There's nothing wrong with having several, or more, brushes. Thats all part of this hobby/obsession.   :001_rolle

Depending on where you are and just what kind of stand floats your boat, I'd suggest giving the G.B. Kent site a look. If I remember correctly, they have a basic, one-brush stand in faux ivory, black, and faux horn. Price was <$10.
You might also check out the custom stands made by one of our B&B members - just do a search in this forum. He makes custom stands of all configurations and does very nice work, although I'm not sure if his materials (I believe he uses plexiglass) allow a faux horn option.

Checked out the Kent site all I could see was an imitation ivory stand.:frown:
Can find loads of ivory and ebony stands but no horn stands. I'm planning on getting a jagger horn razor and brush. I thought it would be nice to have a matching stand.
Think at this rate I might end up going for a wire stand although I think Jaggers are a bit overpriced.

They have a variety of stands hear though not the faux horn Plexiglas. http://www.classicshaving.com/Razor_and_Brush_Stands.html
If you like that style they have similar ones made out of ceramic that I've been considering.
